Another week has come and gone and I’m still kicking, which is always good news. I’ve increased the rounds of my 200m sprints to10, which happened earlier than expected. My next goal is to do 10 x 300m sprints. To accomplish this I plan on starting at 4 rounds again, then increase the number of rounds each week until I hit 10. My ultimate goal is to get to 10 x 400m, with minimal rest time between. I figure that if I can do that, I will have kicked my running nemesis squarely in the teeth.

If you found this post, it’s either by accident or you followed it through our FB page. I’m not including my “Train For The Games” posts as a regular spot in the blog. I doubt everyone wants to read about my training schedule, so I decided to create this blog within a blog.
From the link on the main menu bar or via our FB page, people will get to see what I have been doing to get ready for the 2013 games open. I’ve included a snazzy, yet maybe inaccurate countdown timer to the exact start of the Open in 2013. Plus there is a link to all of my WOD’s posted on Beyond the Whiteboard. Like I said, I doubt most of my regular readers would want to know what I scored on a WOD, so I left this section off the main page.
Ok since I got destroyed at the games open this year, which I expected, I decided to track my training and post if for the whole world to see starting very soon, for next years open. I'm gonna need alot of advice, plus help from affiliates in my area, in addition to Waxmans gym for my OLY lifts. I'm gonna need to work super hard to make drastic improvements by next year, but it should be fun.
