The other day I had a conversation with my dad, which got me thinking. Well it wasn’t as much of a conversation as a statement he made. I asked him when he was going to start CrossFit. Without hesitation he told me with a smile, I’m retired, I’ve worked my whole life, and now I’m gonna enjoy it. I’m gonna eat what I want, and do whatever makes me happy.

Ok so the other day I finally tried another packet of Progenex that had been sitting in the cupboard. It’s been there, because quite honestly, I’ve never been a fan of vanilla anything when it comes to supplements.

Well the Progenex stuff was no exception. It had a slight medicine or chemical taste to it, which I didn’t like.

I only used water with all the APS stuff I tried, as well as the Progenex Belgian Chocolate Recovey (Which was great, see article). I figured plain water was the ultimate equalizer and something all of us have at our disposal, during or after a workout.
