My list starts at number ten and culminates at the number one reason I'd love to hate Crossfit but don't. I'm sure if you've been doing the Crossfit WOD's for any length of time you could easily add to the list and I'd love to hear about your hates. So please make a comment at the end of the list, if for nothing else to tell me I'm not alone!
1. The WOD’s make me realize that I’m not in that great of shape and that hurts my ego.
2. Usually after a WOD I find muscles I didn’t know I had, and they hurt.
3. I’m not a fan of vomit and on occasion I’ve been pushed to that point. Damn you Crossfit, working out is supposed to be easy and relaxing.
4. I’ve had to spend money on new clothes since the old ones won’t fit. What am I supposed to do with all my fat clothes? How about some program for that?
5. I find myself day dreaming about the next WOD, and I get excited, now that’s plain sick. 5. It’s ruined the regular workout schedule I’ve had for years. How dare they take me out of my comfort zone!
6. I’ve had to sell all my old useless junk so I could buy proper “Workout gear”. Man I really loved that junk and it looked so nice stacked in the garage.
7. Gorging myself on pizza, milkshakes and doughnuts comes back to haunt me when running the hills, what give you the right to mess with my food Bastards?
8. I’ve had to learn a new language. Terms like “Fran”, pukie and “WOD” mean nothing to the average person.
9. Every guy at the Crossfit Games looked better with their shirts off than me, even the spectators! Hopefully my wife didn’t notice. WTF Crossfit, as you can tell your ruining my life, but I love you for it.
See you in the hills!
