I finally got my order from APS and am still a fan of Lemonade Recovery but not other samples I tried.

Ok so last week I got the shipment of APS recovery that I talked about in this previous article. When I opened the box I was surprised to see all the goodies in the box. The good folks at APS had sent along several free samples with our first order. The extras included four sample packs of recovery; flavors Pineapple Orange, Fruit Punch and a bottle of Complete Omega Three.
Since it was a rest day I waited until my next workout to open one of the large containers of our Lemonade Recovery and was pretty floored by what I saw. The containers, as large they are, were only half filled with product as shown in the photo below. Now I know that they say that your getting so many ounces (25 oz) of the product, but that really never computes in a customers mind. Instead they show this big container on their website and you in your mind you think your getting that much, but your not. Instead it looks to be a sales pitch to make you think your getting more that you are. I’d bet that the contents of both containers would have fit in one, but I guess that’s marketing.
1. Large container basically half filled! The contents of both containers could have fit in one.
2. Box of APS stuff when first opened.
3. The free samples: 1 bottle Complete Omega Three, two Pineapple Orange Recovery packets and two Fruit Punch Recovery packets.

4. 20% off coupon on next order (I removed the code :) sorry.
As for the samples here is my take:
APS Pineapple Orange Recovery: Mayra tried it and said it had a slight aftertaste and it would be better mixed with juice. She also said that she felt no significant difference during or after her workout when she tried it.
APS Fruit Punch Recovery: No thanks we both tried it and were unimpressed, when mixed with plain water it tasted as bad as the APS chocolate whey protein.
APS Lemonade Recovery: Still my favorite! The Lemonade wins hands down for flavor. I really like it, with the only downside is that it has a slight smell of eggs when you drink it and of course the fact that the bottles are no way close to being full when you receive them.
APS Complete Omega Three: Nothing to report since I have yet to try it, I’ll keep you posted.
I’d definitely re-order their product, but only after I compare it to other products on the market. If it weren’t for the under-filled containers they would have had a customer for life.
Now that you know how I really feel and that I hold no punches when I review a product if you'd like to try some for yourself just follow this link to APS and buy some. Yep I'm trying to make cash off this website so if you wanna help out a bit, this would be a great way to help me with the costs of this website. If you do buy LEMONADE is the only way to go though, just saying.
See you in the hills.

* Disclosure Per FCC
The product I have written about, I have personally tried. Sometimes I get the products I review for free but most of the time, I pay for them just like everyone else. On the rare occasion I do get something kicked down for free to review, I’ll tell you in the article. The opinion I offer, regardless of how I got the products is genuine, I’ll write the good and bad, I hold no punches. Also, I cannot speak for any other products or services their company may offer. Basically unless I have tried them, I have no opinion. In any case you need to know that certain links from this article are to affiliate products for sale. What that means is that if you click on the link and later purchase a product from the site and product I link to I get paid. You can read a more in depth disclosure here if need be. So why would I tell you this? Well first it’s the law, second it’s the right thing to do and third I ain’t got nothing to hide. Since this site don’t pay the bills by itself, I figure reviewing a product I’ve already tried and like, benefits both of us. First you get an honest to goodness opinion and two, I might make a few bucks as well.
